This Privacy Policy explains how Axis AI LLC ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use SurveyToolkit and our website (the "Service").


1. Information we collect

  • Account and contact information*you provide, such as name, email, profession, and company.

  • Payment information, which is processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.

  • License key and usage information, used to operate, secure, and improve the Service. This includes the number of parcels you plot, the date you last used the Service, the states you search, and the devices on which your license key has been activated.

  • Content you enter, such as deed text you paste or deed images the Service retrieves and processes on your behalf.

  • Technical data, such as IP address, browser type, and basic logs.


2. How we use information

We use information to provide and operate the Service, process payments and manage subscriptions, validate license keys, respond to support requests, improve features, prevent abuse, and comply with law.


3. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service, such as our website and store platform (Wix), our payment processor, our application host and database provider (Render), and the third-party artificial intelligence providers we use to read uploaded deed and plat images. Documents you upload may be transmitted to those providers solely to extract the text and geometry you requested. The Service also sends parcel identifiers or addresses to public county GIS and records systems in order to retrieve the records you request. We may disclose information if required by law.


4. Cookies and local storage

The website may use cookies for basic functionality and analytics. The application stores your license key in your browser's local storage so you do not have to re-enter it, along with a randomly generated device identifier used to limit how many devices a single license key may be active on, and a short list of your recent searches for convenience. You can clear all of this at any time in your browser settings.


5. Data retention

We keep account and transaction records as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize them. Deed and plat documents the Service saves are stored to provide your research files and can be deleted on request.


6. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information, including secure (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.


7. Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.


8. Children

The Service is intended for business and professional users and is not directed to anyone under 18.


9. Third-party records and links

Information retrieved from public records belongs to and is governed by its source. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of third-party sites or records systems.


10. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version.
